The book of Jonah is more than a story about a man and a fish. It is a story about a faithful God who calls, pursues, and shows mercy.

Jonah was a real prophet who lived in a real place and time, called by God to take His message to one of the most wicked cities on earth. Instead of obeying, Jonah ran. But even in his rebellion, God never stopped working. The book of Jonah reveals a God who is patient with His people and passionate about reaching the lost.

We will be going on a verse-by-verse journey through this book, and we will see God’s heart for the nations, His desire for obedience, and His relentless mercy that meets us even when we run. The story of Jonah reminds us that God’s mission cannot be stopped, and His grace reaches far and wide.
