OUR LEADERSHIP
We are a Jesus-ruled, elder-led, and congregationally-responsible church.
Elders are "under-shepherds." They are to be called by God, biblically-qualified, confirmed by the church, and have a desire to love and serve.
All members of our congregation are responsible for building a healthy church.
The Bible commands all believers to help others follow Jesus (discipleship), to speak the truth in love, to build up their faith, and to use their gifts to the glory of God and for the good of His people.
Senior Pastor
Joshua Sanders
Joshua and his wife, Madison, have 5 children and reside in Terre Haute. They both grew up in Terre Haute. Joshua loves lifting weights, hunting, fishing, anything outdoors related, sports, reading, and spending time with his family. PS: He is a huge Colts and Pacers fan!

Joshua worked for over seven years with Chick-fil-A as a Director of Operations. Joshua also served on staff at three churches in the South: Student Pastor at RealHope Church of God in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Assistant Pastor at Plant City Church of God, Plant City, Florida; and as Connection Pastor at Arise Church in Brandon, Florida, one of the top 100 fastest growing churches in the United States.
Following a ministry weekend in September of 2023, the congregation voted unanimously to call Sanders and his family to lead Christ Community Church to be the strong outreach church it desires to be. The people of CCC immediately sensed something in this young couple, that they were God’s choice to lead CCC as we seek to spread the Gospel in the community we love.
The prayer of Joshua is that all those who are bound in darkness will hear the Gospel and come into the light. Many people have said that this region has no hope, but we know that that isn't true. With Christ, all things are possible. The Sanders are so excited to be back in this region to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and see the Holy Spirit move in a powerful way. They love this area and know that the best days for Brazil, Terre Haute, and the surrounding cities are ahead!
