Prisoners of Hope

All of us have experienced disappointment when things don’t go the way we expect. We know that this is a part of life, and most times, we take it in stride. But there are seasons when the level of disappointment rises to a painful extreme, and we begin to lose hope that God hears our cry. Have you asked God to heal you and nothing has happened? Have you asked God to restore your marriage or open doors that will bless your family, but nothing seems to be changing? In those moments, we need to learn the lessons of Zechariah chapter 9 and hold onto covenant promise ignoring what our eyes are seeing. We become prisoners of hope, even though our situation seems hopeless. Here the glory of God is revealed, and we find peace and the mighty flow of the Holy Spirit.
