This Cup

This Cup

We conclude our present series with the sermon “This Cup.” In this final message, we see Jesus in the Garden before His crucifixion crying out to God in desperate prayer. He will pay for the sins of the world on the cross, but it was in the Garden that Jesus was empowered by the Father to pick up His cross. It was in a garden the first Adam refused God’s will, how fitting in a garden, the second Adam surrendered His will. Jesus shows us our final desperate prayer principle; the power of God flows through surrendered human will. As we look closely at Jesus’ garden prayer, we see great insights that will help us to tackle our struggles and experience power to accomplish all that God has given us to do in this life.
