The Power of Letting Go

The message is titled "The Power of Letting Go." In this series of sermons, we've been talking about how God will sometimes place us in a desperate situation to teach us to pray. This week we look at the life of Jacob. Jacob was a man that needed to control everything around him. God was trying to teach him that the most powerful thing he could do was not to force people and situations into his view of right but to let go and trust God to bring about what He had already promised Jacob's world was getting ready to crash one night when God showed him the secret to a new way of looking at his future and how to let go and trust God with whatever was around the corner. Have you ever felt like Jacob, and need to control everything around you to feel secure?
