Babylon Bows

"Babylon Bows." The book of Daniel masterfully teaches us that there is no limit to what God will do on behalf of those who refuse to bow their knee to any authority but God. In the first four chapters of the Book of Daniel, we see King Nebuchadnezzar have three encounters with God. Each encounter is more intense than the last. Finally, this pagan king's heart is in full submission to the one true God. God is displaying His ability to humble the most powerful man on earth and show us that we need not fear earthly threats of human power. God was in control in Babylon in Daniel's days, and God is in control in America in 2021. As we read the pages of this ancient story, the Holy Spirit breathes confidence into our hearts, equipping us to move forward without fear, accomplishing all that God has given us to do in preparation for the greatest revival in the history of humanity. What a great time to be alive.

From Series: "Postcards From Babylon"

For the next several weeks we will be studying the Book of Daniel and how God revealed Himself in powerful ways even though the people of God were in a difficult place. In this prophetic Old Testament book, we see dreams & visions for the last days, revivals led by pagan kings, miraculous deliverance of God's people, and a blueprint for the church in these tumultuous times. Imagine Daniel captive in Babylon and sending postcards back to those that remain in Judah. He tells a tale of what God will do for His people when they refuse to worship idols and bow to pagan authority. As we read Daniel's postcards we gain great insight helping us to remain strong in these days of pagan captivity.
