These video were created to promote various events that we have had at the church over the last few years. When an event is coming up we try to make a video that will stick in the minds of our congregation as a reminder of the upcoming event. We have so much fun making these and our actors put in so much effort that we just had to share them with you. We admit that this isn't what you would normally see on a church website - but we never said we were normal.
GPS 3000 "With male ego boost"
This video was created and shown for Father's Day. It was just a fun way to say happy Father's Day dad. It is based upon the premise that your average GPS system can be a little rigid and unforgiving when you miss a turn - but what if there was a new GPS system that kept the male ego in mind when giving directions. Maybe even a complement once in a while. Enjoy this video that takes a tongue in cheek look at a product that every dad is waiting for, the GPS 3000. It stars Bob Kellum.
Christ Community Church Vacation Bible School 2011
Another great Vacation Bible School led by our Children's Pastor Cheryl Rissler. This year's theme was Pandamanis, where God is wild about you. VBS nights were filled with great worship led by our Pandamania worship team. There was lots of games outside and great snacks prepared by our outstanding snack ladies. Every night the kids were led on an exciting adventure as they found out about God's great love. It was wild! This video is a recap of the events of VBS week 2011.
Men's Skeet Shoot 2011
This video was created to promote our annual CCC Men's Ministries Shhet Shoot. There was some questions this year as to the ladies coming to shoot. So we made this little video to not only promote the skeet shoot but also to answer that question about the ladies coming out to shoot skeet with the men. Very special thanks to Virginia Schultz who stared in this video and to Bill parr and Chuck Plouch -all greats sports. Enjoy this hillarious video as Virginia teaches the men a lesson.
Hog Roast Highlights 2010
The Christ Community Church Hog Roast 500. This was a great day of fun and fellowship here at the church. It was a beautiful day for a get together. Not only was there tons of great food, but we also watched and unusual race that we affectionately call the Christ Community Hog Roast 500 feet. Super Daryl and Stronger than Lightening
This is the 2nd installment in the Super
Daryl series. This video was done to
promote our annual church Hog Roast that
included the Hog Roast 500 soap box derby. Totally tongue in cheek, this Super Daryl video was incredible fun to produce. We filmed it in the church parking lot and the actors were all from the church. Super Daryl and the Super Daryl Jumpsuit
This video was produced to promote the Men's Ministries Hog Roast in May 2010. We once again see Super Daryl displaying his super abilities by demonstration his new super fast jumpsuit. In this video Super Daryl Pennington races a Toyota Yaris and wins. Unfortunately at the end of the race his jumpsuit malfunctions and he has a little problem. Getting Ready for the CCC Men's Ministries Skeet Shoot
This video was a promo to our annual men's ministries skeet shoot. Marine drill sergeant Danny Dillman and Rodney Pennington did a great job in this drill spoof.
Admittedly this one is over the top and just pain goofy, but we believe you will find it hard to keep from chuckling at the crazy antic of these two Godly men having a good time. Click the image to the left and have a laugh on us.
Shooting Stuff with Daryl, Daryl, and Daryl
This video was created to promote the 2009 Men's Ministries Skeet Shoot. These guys were awesome playing the Daryl brothers. In the all the videos we've created these guys worked together seamlessly in this one. Fall Fest 2009 Video
Fall Fest is a great event at Christ Community Church. Every October pumpkins fill the sky as we gather together for our annual punkin chunkin contest. Men from the church build punkin throws and compete, and the the ladies fill tables with great food. We also have a band perform later in the evening. In 2009 it was the Ride The Wind Band, last year it was the New Blood Bluegrass Band. Click the image to take a peak at Fall Fest.
The Redemption of Jesse Slade
This video was produced to promote our spaghetti western Missions night where we raised funds for summer missions trips. It was shot in a local town called Bridgeton, which we thought provided the perfect setting. You'll see why we loved that setting when you watch the opening shot of this little movie.

Pie Wars
This video promoted our 2009 Hog Roast. It features the ladies of the church and the now famous Daryl brothers. The younger ladies challenge the older ladies to a pie cooking contest. The Daryl brothers are called upon to judge the best pies, but they get a little carried away. Click on the photo to view the video
