Hit Me With Your Best Shot

Hit Me With Your Best Shot

The message is titled, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot.” The Bible says that God created mankind male and female, a perfect design, working together to create balance and harmony. There is an alarming trend rising in our culture that sees masculinity as a threat and femininity as a weakness. They tell us that we must at the same time fear manliness and teach our girls to be manly. This is a diabolical strategy to disarm men, instill passivity, and forever subdue the warrior. Our wives and daughters deserve men who will fight to the death to protect and care for them. We talk about awakening the warrior that God has created every man to be and how femininity is one of God's most precious and indispensable gifts.

From Series: "Old Man Take a Look at My LIfe"

The message was titled, Old Man Take a Look at My Life. John the Baptist preached a message calling the children back to the fathers, and the fathers back to the children. There was a gap or division in the first century, much as there is today. A gap between young and old – rich and poor – Gentile and Jew – men and women. John preached Jesus as the gap closer, and He still is. Today we are as divided as ever, conflicts and divisions abound. When John preached in the 1st century, his mission was to prepare the way for Christ. So, we see that part of getting ready for the return of Christ is to not only have a right heart with God but also be in right relationship with people. There is a little secret tucked away in an old Neil Young song called Old Man - I can't wait to share it with you.  This message will be an insightful look into our interpersonal relationships giving us one simple truth that will help close the gap and heal division and conflict and help us to see people we disagree with in a different light.
