Christ Community Church of Brazil, Inc. is a Non-denominational Christian Church. We believe
that the Spiritual Purpose of the Church is to bring
all believers to maturity in Christ through worship, study, equipping and ministry within the context of the family
and Christian Fellowship.
Statement of faith
The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God,
therefore is complete and sufficient in its message and instruction. (II Timothy 3:16)
• Within the nature of the One True God, there are three distinct and eternal Persons: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Hebrews 1:8 & Acts, 5:3‐4.)
• Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, that was with God from the beginning and that is God, and is the Word of God. (John 1:1‐2, John 8:58)
• That mankind was created upright and good, but through voluntary sin and rebellion in the Garden of Eden fell, thereby separating us from God. (Geneses 3)
• That the penalty for sin is death. (Roman 3:23, Roman 6:23)
• Jesus Christ, Himself sinless, came to earth on the behalf of all sinful people, that He wascrucified, was dead and buried according to Scriptures, and on the third day arose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:4, 2 Corinthian 5:16‐19)
• That all people can be saved by grace through faith as they profess and trust the finished work of Christ on the cross. (Romans 10:9‐10, Ephesians 2:8‐9)
• That for those who die in Christ, He has prepared an eternal home in heaven, and that for those who die apart from Christ there awaits eternal condemnation and suffering. (John 3:18, John 14”1‐4, Revelation 20:15)
• Jesus Christ will return on a day known only by the Father, and that this is the blessed hope for the church (1 Thessalonians 4:16‐18).
One point of view that is widely held among us is that the power of the Holy Spirit witnessed in the book of Acts is still available to the church.
It is fair to say that personal holiness and prayer are strongly emphasized in CCC. The joy of salvation, beginning to know God, and the wonder of seeing his faithful provision are things that we talk about.

Core beliefs and values
Jesus Sensitive:
Today many churches call themselves "seeker sensitive." This term can describe churches who believe that people will be scared off by the straight forward presentation of the truth
of God's word. While we do believe that truth should be presented in love and compassion, we do
not agree that the world needs a watered down presentation of the Gospel. Christ Community is a "Jesus sensitive" church. In other words, we seek to please Christ in all we do, and what please
Jesus the most is when the church faithfully proclaims His word and lives in such a way as to honor
God in all they do.
Spirit Filled:
The Bible teaches us that God has sent His Spirit to endue us with power, spiritual
gifts, and wisdom. We believe that the Holy Spirit is active today in the lives of believers and
desires to work supernaturally to bring about gifting and the full potential of all those who are
willing to submit to His leading. While we believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit we are careful
to seek a balanced view that places an authentic experience with God above mere emotionalism.
Relationships:
We believe in good music & preaching but we believe what makes a church the
most effective witness for Christ is relationships. We regularly encourage fellowship amongst the
folks of Christ Community. Through small groups and other impromptu gatherings people build friendships that help them to grow in Christ. We believe that God brings encouragement and
strength to us through each other. CCC is a place where people can find more that other "church goers", they can find friends.
Every Christian is a Minister:
We believe that every member has a distinct purpose. Every
member is a minister, just as important as any other member. God places people in particular
churches and gives them gifts that are needed to make the church effective. At CCC we uphold
the value of each individual believer. We seek to find out where God desires to use their gifts and
do all we can to equip them to fulfill that ministry.
Acceptance:
Everyone is welcome at Christ Community. Life can sometimes be hard and unfair.
The result is broken people. Some are broken by sin and poor life choices. Others are broken by abuse, divorce, or other painful events. What they all have in common is a need to be loved and acaccepted. While we always encourage people to repent of sin, we at the same time bind up the broken hearted, and do our best to teach them how to overcome and turn their lives around. We have many examples of once broken people that Jesus has forgiven and restored.
Biblical Foundation:
We uphold the Bible as our rule of faith. It is the foundation of all we do and believe. While we desire to always act in love and compassion we do believe that scriptures gives
us clear teaching on some of the controversial moral issues of the day, such as: Homosexuality,
abortion, sex outside of marriage, and other issues that our world is grappling with. We take a
loving, but strong stand on these issues.
Holiness:
The Bible calls us to be a holy people. This doesn't refer to the way we dress or the
length of our hair. It does apply to the condition of our heart that is demonstrated by our life choices.. Holiness is a heart set aside to love
God and to seek to obey Him in our lifestyle and personal choices. We are a people who seek to
please God by the way we live and conduct ourselves in the world.
Fun:
We are committed to having a good time. In our services we enjoy laughing and good
natured fun. We often produce humorous videos to show in our worship services. In the last few months the joy of the Lord is so evident as people are fellowshiping together. We don't believe
Church should be a stuffy event. God has given us much to rejoice about.
Christ Community Church was founded in 1996. In
the providence of the Lord, over 200 people began
a work at the notch in the hill just north of Brazil,
Indiana. The growing congregation quickly completed building finishes and within three years the property
was paid for. In short order,a unique breathing body was fashioned by the Lord from a diverse group of
people. These living stones, with backgrounds from
Baptist to Pentecostal, gathered around the core
elements of the preaching of the Word of God and contemporary worship. unique breathing body

On November 23rd, 2008 Rich Laskowski was called to serve as senior pastor of Christ Community Church. The Lord has called us to bring the whole of our identity and plans before God, to join what He wants to do in and with Christ Community Church in this and future seasons.
Today we worship together on Sunday morning with a heart of passion for our God and are continuing to grow into a body of believers who want more than anything to hear and follow God’s voice.
